When designing a website, there a few steps you should take before diving into Dreaweaver.

>What is your site about?
Seriously, what is the purpose, if you don't have one, it ends up being a waste of time!
Research and get ready to plan before you design.
My Topic/Audience: New Webbies, like me!

>Organize and Consolidate?
Take all the information you got and put it together, so you and other people can enjoy and understand easily.
You can do this via a site map. (pictured above)

>Templates?
A wireframe can help with that. This is a way to start planning the look of your site's content.
You can see an example in the following blog.

>Attitude!
Find out what attitude you want your site to portray. Look into how other people tackle the subject.
Do you want it to be a certain way for your audience, will it appeal to them or turn them off?

>CREATE! ow!
Dig into designing, you have your content, its organized, and you know how to organize it so it can be comprehended!
Why wait? Start the best part, the creative design.
